Review: ELF Raisin Lipliner

ELF Mineral Lip Liner | £3
Hey Honeybees
Its been a while hasn't it? Well.. never mind that, although I do apologise for my absence. Anyway I have here a review of a lipliner from Elf (one of three might I add) from their mineral line and it's called Raisin.
To read my views on this lipliner...

TOP: Raisin with ELF baby lips gloss, daylight swatch of lipliner, blended & unblended.
BOTTOM: flash swatch of lipliner, blended and unblended, Raisin with a lip balm base.
First of all I thought this was a strange name for this particular shade because when I think of raisinsI think of a slightly darker shade than this one. I have worn it a few times and absolutely love it. They apply ever so smoothly without any pulling, the colour is very pigmented and easily blend-able. It stays opaque throughout the day, however it does begin to dry out the lips after a few hours but a good lipbalm as a base will do the trick. This lipliner also provides a great base for a lipstick.

I tend to wear this lipliner either on its own or with a tinted lip balm/gloss on top. It's the perfect nude for my skintone not too pale and not too pink, just an almost perfect tan/brown. This lipliner feels quite natural and not at all sticky. It doesn't clump up if too much is applied (I tried!). it's just a brilliant lipliner and I definitely recommend it. The lipliners retail at £3 and they are fabulous, the pros outweigh the cons by mile and the are definitely worth a try.

Texture: 3/5
Pigmentation: 5/5
Design/Packaging: 5/5
Value For Money: 5/5
Overall Rating: 4/5

Have you tried anything from the mineral line at ELF?
